Consider Economy 7 if you can shift usage
Day/night tariffs charge less overnight and more by day, so they only help if you can move enough usage overnight.
What to do
- Check your meter can support a day/night tariff.
- Work out how much of your usage could move overnight (EV charging, storage heaters, appliances on timers).
- Model it in the Economy 7 calculator before switching.
