Unlike simple clip-on monitors that only show total house consumption, this kit includes 16 individual 50A current transformer (CT) clamps. These clamps wrap around the live wires of specific circuits—such as your oven, immersion heater, or EV charger—broadcasting live data via Wi-Fi to a dedicated mobile app for granular analysis.

In a typical UK semi-detached home, this monitor excels at revealing hidden drains like old refrigeration units or faulty immersion heater timers. The app provides real-time 'seconds' data, which is far more responsive than the 30-minute lag often found with Octopus Home Mini or standard IHDs. However, users should be prepared for a crowded consumer unit; fitting 16 clamps plus the main sensors and the transmitter unit requires significant physical space behind the panel.
