How the figure is produced
- Each claim stores its value, measurement period, source name and URL, geographic coverage, methodology basis and the date it was checked.
- Only rows that have passed editorial review are visible publicly. Reviewer identities are never exposed.
- Claims marked historical are retained but withdrawn from current comparisons.
What this figure cannot tell you
- Evidence coverage is uneven — some claims have a fuller trail than others.
- Third-party datasets are published on their own schedule, so a claim can be the most recent available while not being current-month.
